Pastor-Teacher
God calls faithful,
qualified men (2 Timothy 2:2) to lead and teach the assembled congregations
in local churches (Ephesians 4:11),
leading them to spiritual maturity.
However, while women are encouraged to serve in all other areas of church life and ministry, they are expressly prohibited from teaching
and exercising authority over adult men in the local church. (1 Corinthians
11:3; 14:33-37; 1 Timothy 2:12-15).
