Downloading Web Pages Into Your Site Map
Personal Systematic Theology
Note: This is a manual approach for users who only wish to use individual pages. For another way, click here.
Please feel free to download (/File/Save As/...) any file from Chafer Seminary's Topical Notebook to your personal computer.
For the least confusion, direct downloadable files to a specific directory (folder) that you can remember—where you can find it later. Avoid saving files to directories beginning with:
/My Webs... /My Downloads... /My Documents... /Documents and Settings
Those directories (folders) will cause search problems, sooner or later.
Rather, use Windows Explorer's pull-down menus (/File/New/Folder...) to construct a directory structure on a specific disk drive, as follows (Do not hesitate to ask someone to help you, if you have never created directories before):
C:\Notebook_PST
C:\Notebook_PST\BaseT
C:\Notebook_PST\BaseT\ANGEL
C:\Notebook_PST\BaseT\ANTHR
C:\Notebook_PST\BaseT\BIBLI
C:\Notebook_PST\BaseT\CHRIS
C:\Notebook_PST\BaseT\CWOL
C:\Notebook_PST\BaseT\ECCLE
C:\Notebook_PST\BaseT\ESCHA
C:\Notebook_PST\BaseT\HELP
C:\Notebook_PST\BaseT\ISRAE
C:\Notebook_PST\BaseT\PNEUM
C:\Notebook_PST\BaseT\SAM
C:\Notebook_PST\BaseT\SOTER
C:\Notebook_PST\BaseT\THEOL
Once you have a directory structure available, use your browser's pull-down menus to save the desired web page. In the following example, one desires to save notes on the Holy Spirit's Attributes of Deity. We will assume that you would have them to be stored in the path
C:\Notebook_PST\BaseT\PNEUM\Deity of the Holy Spirit.htm
First, select /File/Save As... from the pull-down menu.
Then, when the "Save Web Page" dialog box opens, use the "Save in:" control, and its down-arrow to locate the \PNEUM directory. Then click on the Save button.

The efficiency (for both teacher and student) of having pop-up verses available, and thereby avoiding the time of looking up supporting verses, is a worthwhile effort. Many of the topical studies at this site already have NASB verses imbedded. To use those pop-up verses, you will need to have a Java script in the same directory with the HTML file being displayed with your browser. Please go to Help_pop_up_verses.htm for relevant "How To" instructions.
