Making a Desktop Icon For Instant Access

 to Your Personal Systematic Theology

Having downloaded the entire CSTN database structure to your C: drive, you might consider placing an Icon on your Desktop, to help get to the PST quickly. Here's how:

Use Windows Explorer as follows:

  1. Double-click the "My Computer" Icon, on your desktop
  2. Double-click the "LOCAL DISK (C:)
  3. Double-click the "NOTEBOOK_PST" directory (folder installed when PST downloaded)
  4. Double-click the "BaseT" directory (folder)
  5. Locate and Select (single-left-click) the Site_Map.htm file
  6. Right-click the selected Site_Map.htm file (see below),

  1. Select  "Send To"
  2. Left-click "Desktop (create shortcut)"

This will place an Icon on your Desktop that looks like the following:

You should be able to Double-click this Icon and start your Browser, which will open your Personal Systematic Theology. If you do not like the Title wording "Shortcut to Site_map.htm" under the icon, you may single click the wording, and type your own Title.
