Linking To Your Own Bible Notes
From a Table of Contents
Within Your Personal Systematic Theology
In this example, we will add a link:
First, how did we get to this point?
1. The database structure for my Personal Systematic Theology was downloaded from the web page (3.58 MB zip file). I did this from here. When completed, I had a directory structure that looks like the following:
2. Next, I moved my personal notes on the Holy Spirit's Attributes of Deity to the C:\NOTEBOOK_PST\BaseT\PNEUM directory. ( Actually, I downloaded the Deity-HS.htm file from here. )
Here Is How to Link to My Notes FROM the Table of Contents:
3. Open the Pneumatology Table of Contents in MS Word:

4. Add the Link to the Word document, as shown below, and described in the notes that follow:

4A. Use your computer's mouse to select the words "Attributes of Deity" (see A, above.)
4B. Press the letter "K" while holding down the <Ctrl> key (no letter B shown, above). <Ctrl-K> is the shortcut key for "Insert Hyperlink."
4C. After the "Insert Hyperlink" dialog box appears, click the "File" button, opening the "Link to File" dialog box.
4D. Use the "Look in:" control's down-arrrow
button
to browse for the C:\NOTEBOOK_PST\BaseT\PNEUM
directory, which should cause the files to be displayed.
4E. Select the filename "Deity-HS.htm"
4F. Click the OK button, which should close the "Link to File" dialog box.
4G. Click the OK button, which should close the "Insert Hyperlink" dialog box.
The words "Attributes of Deity," in the Table of Contents document should now be underlined and colored blue (usually).
