Downloading the Index & Glossary

Into Your Personal Systematic Theology

We will use the instructions in Downloading individual CSTN Topical Notes to download two very important components of Chafer Seminary's Topical Notebook:

to your personal computer's directory:  C:\Notebook_PST\BaseT\

First, Right-Click this link to the Keyword In Context Index.

When the dialog box opens,

           Left-click the "Save Target As ..." option:

When the "Save As" dialog box opens, use the button at the right of the "Save  in:" control window to browse for the C:\Notebook_PST\BaseT\ directory. On locating the BaseT directory, click the "Save" button, as shown below:

When the download completes, you should have the Master Index stored in the path

            C:\Notebook_PST\BaseT\Index-Current.htm

========================================================

Next, Right-Click this link to the Glossary.

When the download completes, you should have the Glossary stored in the path

            C:\Notebook_PST\BaseT\Glossary.htm

========================================================

Now, you should have the three most important components in the BaseT directory:

            C:\NOTEBOOK_PST\BaseT\Site_Map.htm

            C:\NOTEBOOK_PST\BaseT\Index-Current.htm

            C:\NOTEBOOK_PST\BaseT\Glossary.htm

You should be able to cut and paste the Site_Map link (above *) into your browser's URL "Address" control, press "Enter," and bring up the Site Map in your browser. From the Site_Map, you should be able to click on the Index and Glossary links successfully, as well.

If you have not already placed an Icon on your Desktop for the Site Map, now might be a good time to do that. With the Site Map (from your C: drive) on your display, right click in some white space on the Site Map and select "Create Shortcut." A "do-you-really-want-to-do-this" dialog box will appear, to which, you should answer, "OK."

* If your Personal Systematic Theology is on your D: drive, cut and paste the following, instead:

            D:\NOTEBOOK_PST\BaseT\Site_Map.htm
